Ogden, There they were, gone.!!

Back to the gulls at Ogden
                             Clouding skies over Foxhill, p.m.
Interesting Sun Dog showing 1700 hrs

An after work trip to Ogden was as expected with the mass influx of waterfowl now gone. No Teal or Shelduck, just back to the usual gulls, mallards, 16 canada geese and a single Gt Crested Grebe.
Reports from Fly Flatts via DJS was the same with all the Wigeon and Teal moved on.
Strange how they know from across the area when its time to go and all move off at the same time.

No Vis Mig this morning with Queensbury shrouded in fog until mid morning.
By last light the wind was veering round to the south and increasing in strength with rain forecast for tomorrow which may bring some more wildfowl our way. Its looking like the waders have given our area a miss again this year.
As the sun disappeared into the cloud a bright sun dog was showing to the north west.
