Wheatears passing through
Single Cormorant high and >E
Distant Buzzard over the moor >SW
A decent start at Fly Flatts with an icy cold NW>4 and 80% cloud cover sparking some early vis mig
and several birds around but by 0830 hrs the sun had burnt through leaving a clear blue sky and no birds.
A Buzzard and a Cormorant were good movers as were 2 Curlew low over the water towards the northern end.
5 Wheatear were on the waters edge and a good move of passerines taking advantage of the tail wind and heading >SE.
