Yet another misty morning with thick fog on the tops but Ogden was slightly clearer than yesterday but very dull and dark with no wind at 10 degrees.
Unfortunately, low cloud hid any movement above after a report from HC as, a big Redwing day, with a large count of Redwings over his garden at Haworth along with a few Fieldfare mixed in. Thanks for that Howard.
The water at Ogden was buzzing with wildfowl, thanks to a good supply of  weeds around the shore.
Tufted duck were up to 5 with 2 drakes now present along with yesterdays 3, whilst Teal were up to at least 12, plus another Wigeon had arrived to join the one already present. This new bird in could possibly be NKs with he found on Mixenden yesterday. Around 80 Mallard were also present as well as a single Goosander and Cormorant.
Checking the waterside trees, it was pleasing to find the Chaffinch flock had returned with around 25 birds whilst several Long Tailed and Coal Tits were present and 2 Goldcrest. Several birds were dotting about in the trees but too many leaves on at present to be able to check them out.
More cloud tomorrow and probably more fog with a light NE at 8 degrees.
