NOTE !!
No sightings of Roe Deer, Fox, Hare or Badger will be mentioned on this blog throughout the year and links will be removed from other blogs giving the whereabouts of these mammals due to the rising influx of poaching, long dogging and lamping by sick individuals.

Another poor do at Fly Flatts.

What looked like perfect conditions with light grey full cloud making an ideal background for movers with a light W>3 at 8 degrees and breaks of sunshine.
Despite the conditions, birding at this site, once again, hit rock bottom with nothing in the sky other than 3 LBB gulls >SW and 3 Mipits >S.
The compound bushes held 2 Mipits, 4 Reed Bunting and a single Wren whilst the lagoon tree held
2 Stonechat, with a Lapwing nearby on the moor. A group of 9 Canada were on the water.
By 0930 hrs I was thinking ' what am I doing here? .'
A bright day forecast for tomorrow with a light NW turning E by midday, starting at 6 degrees.
