Another cold morning at Leeshaw reservoir/ Ned Hill track

Good count of LBB and Herring gull

1 of 3 Pink Footed Geese present

                                    Dipper down in 'Dunkirk Beck'.

Another icy cold morning at Leeshaw with near full cloud and a few brief sightings of the sun on a biting SW>5 at 4 degrees. Visibility was good.
Another lively morning in the wind with another good show of LBB and Herring gulls but no Black Headed today and Commons long gone. Plenty Greylags and Canadas on the water along with 3 Pink Footed Geese which seem to be well settled here.
No new waders in as yet with just Redshank, Oystercatcher Lapwing and Curlew whilst a Cormorant and Heron were on the far bank. A single Dipper was down in the Dunkirk beck overflow.
Should be getting Cuckoo at this site in the next couple of weeks.
A late afternoon dog walk on Ned Hill track produced my first 4 Willow Warblers of the year.

Looking like a bright morning with a light Easterly at 6 degrees but deteriorating in the afternoon to cloud and a moderate Easterly.
