With a gale force wind up on the tops this morning blowing strong gale W>9 at 49 m.p.h, which peaked slightly higher at midnight along with heavy rain, I thought it would be a fruitless task trying to find anything this morning. The afternoon was a bit less windy but still heavy horizontal showers. A dog walk over Foxhill early morn could have done with wearing lead boots.
They used to say that Queensbury folk going to work got off t'bus in Bradford and fell on their face because they allus lent in t'wind and there were nobbit a breeze i Bradford.
I know you all love gulls out there !! so these are the target birds that gullers are looking for this winter. All the following gulls are a few I have seen locally over previous winters. I hasten to add that only some were found by me whilst others, I were alerted to by KM, MP.
