Fly Flatts/ Ogden.

FLY FLATTS                  Out of range juv Dunlin new in today
Keeping way over on the NE shore
Very ginger head and black belly speckles.

OGDEN                                                   1 of 3 Teal
                                           Green Sandpiper still showing well
Present 4 days now if it is one of the original birds.

1 of 2 Curlew on the west bank.

                                                   Very few gulls present today.

A better morning weather wise at Fly Flatts early morn with good visibility on a WSW>3 at 13 degrees with 80% cloud.
A walk the length of the west bank produced a juvenile Dunlin new in but way over on the east bank and out of  camera range apart from record shots.
Wheatear were again showing in good numbers with 18 birds on the south shore as well as big numbers of  Mipits.
Just 3 LBB gull as well as 9 Black Headed but being constantly flushed by the 2 local Kestrels whilst 2  Red Legged Partridge were on the entrance track. Just the usual species otherwise after a bit of a boring morning.
A mid afternoon visit to Ogden found very few gulls, mostly LBBs from 1cy to adult along with 8 Herring and the usual Black Headed which must produce a Med gull shortly.
The Green Sandpiper was showing well whilst 2 Curlew were on the west bank as well as 3 Teal on the shore. Otherwise just the usual species and thankfully no nuggets present today.

Below this report are some photos of questionable gulls from yesterdays Ogden trip which are under
investigation.
