2 Golden Plover, a rare bird this year.
Common Sandpiper.
Just the usual wader species present with the addition of 2 Golden Plover in the field by the track, a rare bird this year at this site with just one sighting in the Nolstar field a couple of weeks ago and several starting to settle on the Flat moor early March but flushed and moved on by the sphagnum moss operation.
A single Black headed gull was again on the water whilst Swallows and Swifts moved through in good numbers all >N. Hopefully the cloudy wet conditions will bring something down instead of the waders moving straight over us in the clear blue skies we,ve been having.
