A decent day weather wise morning and late afternoon with 100% cloud cover on a light and cool SW>3 with light rain showers p.m. Luckily not the hottest day of the year as forecast .
This mornings watch found very little wader wise with one Ringed Plover and a newly arrived Little Ringed Plover along with 14 Dunlin and the usual Common Sandpipers, Oystercatchers and Redshank.
A Cuckoo was calling continuously from down in the valley whilst a Short Eared Owl was mobbing a Buzzard high over the Nab.
The afternoons watch was much improved with more Dunlin appearing along with a count of 7 Ringed Plover plus the Little Ringed, a good start off to June.

Golden Plover.......................137 in the area, breeding not proved.
