Saturday morning, snowed off.

With plenty overnight snow leaving a good covering up here in Hill Billy country as well as thick fog it was match abandoned and down to some snow shoveling and a snowy dog walk which the team loved. Around 40 Common gulls were in Foxhill  park and a good flock of 131 Lapwing in the field opposite Pit Lane where there were around 100 Starling on the football pitch.
Yesterdays Pinkies certainly knew when to move yesterday morning seeing a clear window before the weather front moved in.
Looks like I,ll have to head for the low lands if I,m going to get a tea time birding session in today.
