A look back at May 2017 Fly Flatts

                                   A good count of Redshank
                                    Dunlin present throughout

Nice Osprey over the boathouse 30th

The Osprey flew south over Cold Edge then back north over the Nab

A better year for Golden plover than this year
                                              Snipe bred well
Fly Flatts, Nab Water Lane Cuckoo

                                   Dotterel in the Nolstar field

                                       The Dotterel twitch
                                     Whimbrel at Leeshaw
Marsh Harrier over Leeshaw then later picked up by
                   IH over Keighley Moor reservoir.

A second day of the Whimbrel

                4 Cuckoos, Leeshaw

                                  Fly Flatts Shelduck.

With a full afternoon today shopping and dog grooming I had to reluctantly give birding a miss so just to keep the blog rolling I,ve put together a few of the highlights from May 2017 showing that there,s plenty to look out for throughout May.
