Two more bonus birds today after my 5th visit in 5 days producing several, new in , spring birds and 4 specials.
The new comers today were 8 Whooper Swans and a single Shelduck along with the weeks birds of 15 Lapwing, 4 Greylag, 2 Barnacle geese 2 Oystercatchers and the usual Canadas and Mallards.
A top up of the Nyjer seed found 3 Meadow Pipits interested in the area along with a female Stonechat.
Info back today on Tuesdays Caspian gull at this site described it to be a first cross hybrid Herring/Caspian adult bird which will do nicely for me. Thanks to AC for his interest and correctly identifying the bird.
Also many thanks to David Crawshaw who has just given an excellent account of the bird with the same conclusion.
