BHG showing leg ring
J9M4 to check up on
Soon we,ll have a Med gull here !!!
Unfortunately by the time I arrived at Ogden, 1530 hrs, we,d run out of rain and I was left with sunshine and bright skies which is not what I ordered.
As expected, no sign of the Little Egret strengthening my thoughts of it being a passage bird brought down by the storm rather than a local bird doing the rounds. BHG numbers are increasing daily widening the chances of a Med gull whilst LBB gulls seem happy to use the shoreline.
One BHG had a green leg ring J9M4 which is not a code I,ve had before so will have to investigate further on that one.
Nothing else of note and no sign of returning Kingfishers to the sluice gate area as yet.
