Just the usual gulls present at Ogden
1 Common gull.
Late afternoon and limited time today so off to Ogden for a quick check of the water in cloudy conditions soon breaking into heavy horizontal drizzle from the west.
Around 40 LBB gulls, c50 BHGs and 1 Common gull were spread between the east banking and water whilst only 3 Cormorant were present.
A walk around the perimeter of the water failed to produce a single passerine and still no sign of any returning Kingfisher around the sluice gate area.
A sad day for birders tomorrow when all the spoilt little scumbags head for our moors to kill as many birds as they can. Will have to miss Fly Flatts tomorrow but no Saddos allowed on Sunday.
