Distant rainy shots of Goosander

Peering through the rain

An evening visit to Ogden in the hope of history repeating itself and producing Terns but the only thing the same was the weather with rain lashing down in stair rods on a brisk W>4.
The weather did me a favour with bringing down 2 adult and 1 juv Goosander which were very hard to get to grips with straining to peer through the rain.
Surprisingly in the good maritime conditions gull numbers were down with 6 LBBs and 11 BHGs although the hour was getting late and several will have already moved on to roost.
