Black Headed gull numbers rising
Lesser Black Backed, pale mantle due to sun.
juv Black Headed
Late 1st summer LBB
Young Kestrel
First signs today of a real gull push with a steady flow of LBBs since early morning then joined by Herrings till late afternoon all >W and >SW.
With that in mind plus reports of Med gulls at Ringstone, Calderbirds, a late evening check of Ogden was on the cards.
A record count this summer of 41 Black Headed gulls were along the east shoreline whilst 7 LBB gulls were on the water.
A careful sift through failed to find any Meds.
Otherwise it was the usual sp with 2 ad and 1 juv Kestrel up Ned Hill..
Still plenty Swifts around.
Good to see the Tracy mobile parked at Ogden but dipped on seeing Tracy.
