Right, thats enough of this hot stuff for one summer, lets get back to some decent grey skies and cool breeze with birds in the air, June is a bad enough month without a heatwave, bet I,m popular saying that, this weather is alright for normal folk but it does,nt do anything for me.
Blue skies and wall to wall sunshine overhead today meant very little movement though ideal for raptors so it was camera at the ready up Foxhill park at lunch time but to no avail although a near miss when a Red Kite was clocked going >S through the Causeway Foot col at 1300 hrs. Otherwise for me it was just a few LBBs over >W and several Swifts and Swallows in various directions.
Soon be back to the weekend again to see whats stiring.
