Ogden p.m.

1 of 2 Grey Wagtails food collecting.

A bright and breezy evening at Ogden, again with clear, blue empty skies.
The water held the usual 6 Canadas and a few Mallard including 3 chicks but no Gt Crested Grebes.
Late in the day for passerines other than a few Chaffinch and Robins near the feeding area whilst a Sparrowhawk skimmed in low dropping into the plantation.
A pair of Grey Wagtails were busy gathering food for their young around the overflow and several Woodpigeons were around the golf course.
Back to the weekend though Fly Flatts could be a problem this and next Sunday with the mountain bike race one day and the boat club open day the following Sunday. Probably have to stick to the northern end.
