Ogden p.m.

Mostly 1st summer BH gulls returning

OK so I was getting a bit desperate for photos

A 2nd Tufted out on the water
                 The resident Tufted

                                    Song Thrush surrounded by flies

An after tea dash to Ogden found conditions much better, for me anyway, with 100% cloud cover and light specks of rain on a SE>3.
Other than the resident Tufted a second male was out on the water busy diving whilst 6 Canadas were under the west banking.
Most passerines had gone down with just a couple of Willow Warblers collecting insects and a brief encounter with a Garden Warbler which darted down into the ditch for a drink before disappearing back into the wood. The usual Song Thrush was in good voice over the Rhododendrons.
Swifts were piling over >S ahead of the approaching weather front along with a few Swallows.

A report today via Peter Turner of a Albino or leucosis Mistle Thrush around the electric power station at Shelf Moor, one to look out for.
Have a good weekend all.
