Ogden p.m.visit

Bedding down for the night, Mallard chicks.
Canada goose, a recently new sp to Ogden
                        Tranquil scenes

                         Canada goose numbers increasing.
2nd summer Black Headed going into malt.

A flying visit to Ogden after tea with the wild assumption that the Calderdale Little Egret may just have dropped in there for an overnight stay and as expected, it had,nt.
A quiet evening with cloud cover and a SW>4 which could have made it good for Terns, but again nothing.
Had to settle for
21 Canada Geese
11 Black Headed gulls losing their summer hoods
1 Heron
Sev Swallows, Swifts and House Martin
1 Nuthatch
Sev Chaffinch
+ usual Mallards
No sign of Gt Crested Grebes
