Ogden, early evening

A tranquil Ogden, just the job after a hard days work
                                 Plenty Black Headeds gathering

F Mallard and juv BH gull All the drake Mallards are
                         in eclipse now

2 Herons at the north end

A good E>4 and grim skies to the east got things moving today with good numbers of gulls , mainly Black Headeds , around the village, some very high nearly out of sight, and some just drifting about over the roof tops. Several Swifts were feeding but again very high almost out of range to the naked eye.
Because of this I thought I,d better give Ogden a quick once over to see if any goodies had dropped in.
Plenty shoreline now attracting the gulls but no waders or exotic wildfowl present.
This weekends promised storms should liven the job up a bit.

23 Canadas
2 Heron
130+ Black Headed gulls
7 Lesser Black Backed gulls
2 Common gulls
usual Mallards, some still with well grown chicks. Most of drake Mallards in eclipse and flightless.
