After a quiet day around the village a last minute attempt to get something for tonights blog by touring south of the area still left me with very little info and photo less.
Tracys field held 14 Lapwing but over the far wall in the further field along with 4 Pied Wagtails in the front field.
Corporal Lane held another 4 Lapwing and a few Black Headed gulls whilst 3 Grey Partridge ran across a field down Corporal Hill.
No sign of Little Owl in the usual spot with just several pre roost Jackdaws.
Warblers had moved on from Shibden Top but around 50 mixed Swallow and House Martin were overhead.
Out of time as plenty gardening to do so that was it.
A dinnertime visit to the Tawny Owl spot found no returning bird as yet.
