Big tick for TMR

You dont get a bigger tick than this, Vulcan Bomber .

                                  From N Yorks heading >S
                                               juv LBB bomber
                                   Mallard leaving the lagoons

TMR early evening visit   Permit holders only.  Windy Corner.
Still a strong W wind blowing and showers with broken cloud.
Gull count low tonights with c 100 LBBs and c 60 BHGs with no Common or Herring.
The lagoons held 1 Mallard until it left for the moor whilst Meadow Pipit numbers keep rising.
The highlight of the hours watch was a extremely noisy plane over up in the clouds and lifting all the gulls  and as it finally appeared to the SE of me I was gob smacked to see a Vulcan Bomber which I believe there is only 1 flier left.
Quiet on the birds but good to have my own air show.
On the worrying side a Pheasant flushed in front of me with 2 very young chicks running on behind, lets hope it keeps its head down tomorrow or the chicks will have a problem.
