Bonus bird for T.M.R.

                                   LBB with feet problem ?

The result of a Heron passing

                                               Base camp

TMR. Permit holders only.   1500-1700hrs. Bright sunshine, some black clouds, NW>5

Up to 400 gulls on arrival with c 200 BHGs, c150 LBBs, 2 Herring gull, 1 Yellow Legged gull and the rest Commons.
As I got on to the hide area and started scoping, the Yellow Legged Herring gull was briefly on the wall before dropping into the water.
Scanning through the 200ish BHGs I got on to a likely Med gull but at that time a Heron flew over the water causing the full amount of gulls to lift up and disperse, some to local fields and some moving on. About half returned to the water but I failed to re locate either the Yellow Legged or the suspected Med gull.
Whilst scanning the far banking a Green Sandpiper skimmed over the SW corner wall briefly landing on the shore before flying low all way up the west bank of the reservoir trying to find somewhere to land but with no banking available it continued on >N, hopefully to Leeshaw.
This is a bird I have,nt had for several years.
Two Curlews through >W  and several LBB gulls moving >NW and very high like specks in the sky but still no Terns but thanks for the alert from DP/NP, Dannysbirds, this a.m. when they had a Common Tern at Leeshaw, thanks for the message boys.
