Raggalds Flood

                                   Water level receeding

                                                                  Return of the Redshank

Got volunteered for gardening duties this evening but managed a quick visit to Raggalds flood at 1900hrs.
On arrival it looked deserted but after 10 minutes watching 4 m Pied Wagtails appeared along with 1 Lapwing.
The m Reed Bunting flitted from the reeds to the wire fence and back and a pair of Blackbirds landed near the water.
On a last scan the Redshank had appeared in the waters edge but where from I dont know but its good to see it back.
