Unusual feeders for here.
A bright morning with a cold SW> 4 increasing mid p.m. to SW>5 with heavy rain showers.
The rain is a mixed blessing, partly because Soil Hill and Raggalds Flood need topping up but shoreline is showing at Fly Flatts so none needed there. At least the rain will help the firefighters keep the moorland fires at bay.
Nothing untoward today other than plenty Starlings feeding on the grass in Foxhill park now meaning that they have got young on and the main feature of the day was Lynda taking the 2 pics through the window of Goldfinch once again on the garden feeders.
Hopefully finches are moving up to our heights with these recent Goldfinch and a pair of Chaffinch now showing regularly.
Note the anti Sparrowhawk canes which just slows down their element of surprise.
