Raggalds Flood Shelduck, whatever next?

                                           1pr Shelduck on the flood

                                             Found this a.m. by AC

                                             Plenty feeding Swallows

A cold morning with early sleet and snow showers with a biting N>5 turning NW>5 late afternoon.
Just washing off for lunch when AC pulled up holding up his camera with a beam from ear to ear.
Looking at the screen was a cracking pair of Shelduck which he,d just taken at Raggalds flood.
A quick phone call to NK then dash home for dinner and dog walk before jumping in the car and heading for the Raggalds with 15 minutes to spare.
On arrival NK was already there turning blue in the cold wind and showers but well worth it for the site tick.
No waders were present and a solitary Swift flew >N before the arrival of a Mallard.

A flying visit this evening found the pair still present with several feeding Swallows but still no waders.
Thanks again for the visit Andy.
