Skylark on its way down
Always Woodpigeons on the hill
A good stronghold for all year round Skylarks
An evening visit to Soil Hill found conditions good with a very slight NW>2 and cloud. A good 360 deg visibility with some heavy shower clouds in the distance.
A check of the scrapes produced nothing other than the usual Mipits, Linnets and Skylarks so it was off to the highest point for a bit of sky watching.
Gulls were moving well through the coll and a large number of Swifts came through probably skirting the showers.
