What a difference a day makes. Fly Flatts

                                Oystercatcher in the spume

                                    1 of 2 Wheatear

One extreme to the other weather-wise this morning with a freezing cold NNW>4 at 6 degrees with full cloud cover.
After yesterdays mega day, today was the opposite with everything anchored down out of the wind with even the geese and goslings remaining on shore in the long grass.
No sign of yesterdays specials though very hard work scoping the north shore with the wind blasting full on into the scope. Just 2 Dunlin and 2 Common Sandpiper skimming over the water plus 1 Oystercatcher and 5 Redshank.
Empty skies this morning other than a few Swallows, whilst 2 Wheatear and 3 Pied Wagtail were along the south shore.
A part cloudy morning but still the northerly wind with a start temp down to 4 degrees. Possibility of rain p.m. which my gardens will be pleased about.

Waders so far this spring at my 2 local reservoirs, Leeshaw and Fly Flatts. :-
