Sticking it out at Fly Flatts

                                    1 of 2 Raven

                                    1 pr Tufted

                            Distant Buzzard mobbed by Curlew
                                    8 Golden Plover at Nolstar
                                    Single Wheatear in with them

A cool cloudy morning at Fly Flatts with a ENE>3 at 6 degrees and full cloud.
A clear out of waders this morning with just 2 Dunlin, 4 Redshank and 2 Common Sandpiper found along with the usual Curlews and Lapwings. Wheatears were down to 3 female and a pair of Tufted duck were on the water.
Empty skies this morning apart from 2 Raven over the quarry and a few Meadow Pipits.
On the plus side, 8 Golden Plover were in the Nolstar fields along with a single Wheatear. One of the Goldies looked good for a Northern. Hopefully their presence will invite Dotterel in at this perfect time of year for them.
Looking like a bright sunny day for tomorrow but still starting off at 4 degrees on a very light SE.
