Another dabble at Fly Flatts

                                   Ringed Plover and Oystercatcher
Waiting for the shore to appear.

                                Alive with Meadow Pipits

                                    4 of 6 Oyks.

A wet start to the morning but dry by 0830 hrs with a cold WSW>5 with the temp reading 5 degrees but much colder in the wind chill. Full cloud but good visibility, both horizontal and above.
Nothing untoward this morning, the main feature being a significant move of Meadow Pipits with a steady flow >N for the first hour. This is not usually seen in the spring, and at one point it looked like autumn vis mig with small flocks of Mipits over the moor.
Just 4 Ringed Plover today along with 6 Oystercatchers and 2 Redshank as well as the usual Lapwings and Curlews. Other than that, everything seemed to be keeping their heads down in the cold wind with even the geese and Mallards keeping in the long grass on the shore.
Looking like a wet drizzly morning with very poor visibility, which is a posh way of saying fog, but a lighter SW turning W and a slightly higher temperature.
