A warm morning at Fly Flatts at 16 degrees on a light SE-2. The forecast thunderstorms never developed with just a couple of distant rumbles of thunder but no rain.
I hoped for something coming in ahead of the weather but the shore was near empty other than the usual Ringed Plovers and Common Sandpipers.
A bit of sky movement was interesting with several BH and LBB gulls all SE whilst a Curlew flew high and west.
Last bird of the morning was an unusual visitor when a Cormorant came in from the west and landed on the water. After a couple of dives it found that Fly Flatts is a fish-less water so quickly moved on SE.
As you will have guessed, Im still going around in circles trying to get the blog on the new computer and then I,ve the photos to sort.
BS.
