Dense fog on the tops this morning as forecast but Leeshaw was bright and sunny on a light W>3 at 4 degrees with frost in the fields.
Gulls were out in force today with swarms of small gulls plus a good count of Herrings and Lesser Black Backed along with a quick sighting of 1 Yellow Legged Herring gull as it left the water at the west end but at scopeable distance.
Plenty Greylags and Canadas but no newcomer species amongst them.
It looked like good skies for Pinks and Swans but nothing doing in those lines.
Back to Ringby Top again this afternoon with much the same as previous visits. The distant skies were very hazy with plenty fog waiting to come in during the night on the very light SE.2 forecast.
The Lapwing flock was again present whilst at least 15 Magpies were in the end north field along with 4 Herring gull, a few Mipits and 7 Pied Wagtail.
On the walk back down the north track 4 Blackbirds were feeding in a berry bush.
