This was as near as I could get to Avocets today
4 new arrivals, Oystercatchers.
This LBB ended its days on the east bank,
probably like I will.
Back to sunshine and blue skies today on a moderate NW>4 and quite cold early morning.
Very quiet today with just 2 Dunlin on the ponds but no sign of the long staying Ringed Plover which may have finally moved on, the ponds seem empty without its constant
presence .
Still signs of movement with 4 Oystercatchers new in on the east bank but otherwise it was down to the juv Wheatear on the ponds whilst several Swifts were feeding over the water.
