Despite ideal conditions this morning vis mig watch proved poor with very little in the air.
Reports of a few groups of Redwing coming in from the east >SW passed to the east of me in brighter skies over the east ridge but these soon died out mid watch. Thanks for report to HC and his gang at their Oxenhope watch.
A group of 8 Goosander came over from the west and looked like landing on the water before changing plan and headed off over the Nab >NE shortly followed by a group of 51 Mallard that landed on the north end of the water.
No sign of the Stonechats or Ringed Plovers this morning with just a few small gulls and a single Buzzard present.
No photos as yet with a computer problem not letting me access Picasa.
