The Redstart wall below Roper but not today.
Across the col to a hazy Withins
Soil Hill mast
The watchful Carrion Crow.
A dinner time dash to the Roper Lane watch point and to check last years Redstart wall but no joy today.
The fields below Roper held several Lapwings, Meadow Pipits and Skylarks along with 6 Canada geese down in the pylon field.
Plenty traffic going through the col with Swallows, Swifts and House Martins in good numbers all >N and a bonus of my first Sand Martin this year skimming the Bradshaw pond then off over Soil Hill.
5 LBB gulls and 2 Herring gull headed towards Ogden and a very high Heron flew over Ovenden Moor.
No more surprises over the garage today.
