Curlew.
1545-1700 hrs, W>4 Sunshine and showers.
Perfect wader conditions at Oxenhope with heavy showers moving over, just right for bringing down the birds.
Passage waders were constantly coming and going with at one point Dunlin, Ringed and Little Ringed Plover, Common Sandpiper, Oystercatcher and Redshank all in one scope view.
Herring gulls were on the shoreline with LBBs although several had left from when MD had been there earlier.
A single Raven was being mobbed by a Curlew as it headed towards Fly Flatts.
The fall of Dunlin from last weekend had moved on with none spotted until just now when I found one on the photos.
A real entertaining hour.
