No second bite at the cherry for me today with decorating duties and I was not sorry really in the nasty hot stuff, the weather I hate almost as much as fog.
This mornings visit to Fly Flatts was a late start for me with bits to do first so did,nt arrive there until 0810 hrs which turned out to be a very lucky move.
A lady dog walker walks Fly Flatts most Sunday mornings arriving just after me and takes her dog well over the moor for a 2 hour walk.
As I arrived her car was parked by the gates with every window smashed and some bodywork damage. Her things out of the car were thrown about everywhere with several items taken.
You can imaging the state she was in when she got back and saw it. The vehicle was un drivable and she was stuck there with her dog. I stayed with her waiting for the police and to make sure the recovery truck was ok to drop her at home before I left.
Apparently, according to the police, this is now a common occurrence at Fly Flatts with several cars being done early morning and even in the afternoon.
The police agreed that these low life were no trouble in a morning as they were still in bed from being out on the drugs and rob the night before but this seems to be a new trend for them.
I may have to have a re think on this venue as its just not worth having your car smashed up for.
