Fly Flatts

                                      Juv Wheatear
Alive with Wheatear, at least 31 counted
                                    Plenty shoreline SE corner
Vis miggers nightmare, bright blue skies.
                                         More Wheatear

Dog fight over the Nab, 3 Kestrel and 2 Raven
                     Other corvids joined in

                           Back to the Wheatears

Fly Flatts early a.m. Cold NW>4 with clear blue skies and sunshine, yuk !

A good start on the way there with a Swift over Mixenden res but otherwise movement was limited with just Swallows heading >W and a few Mipits.
The reservoir area was overrun with Wheatear mainly in the SE corner but some up on the north shore counting at least 31 including several juvs.
A battle was taking place over the Nab with 2 noisy Raven, 3 Kestrel and a few other corvids joining in.
Otherwise all was quiet with the north of the reservoir deserted probably due to yesterdays undesirables blasting.
Only 2 BH gulls on the water and and no sign of Canadas or Mallard. A few lucky Grouse could be heard over the moor and several Meadow Pipits were along the shoreline.
