Soil Hill/ Shelf Moor last light

Best I could do in last light, distance and bad conditions.
Snipe numbers down to 26, Shelf Moor

1500hrs and a quick dash out in the last hour of daylight in atrocious conditions with a strong SW>6 and squally showers.
Soil Hill was poor with 3 Meadow Pipits, 2 Skylark and 5 Feral pigeons so off to the Shelf Moor trailer park only to find that AC at Northowram had pinched our Lapwings and Reed Buntings, see Andys blog.
Tracys field was deserted but I could see the Lapwing flock in the sky lower down towards Shelf roundabout so no count today.
Snipe were down to 26 with 12 around the area and another 14 coming in on the edge of darkness but in the conditions they were bad to see and near impossible to snap at the speed they were moving in the wind.
Some of the Snipe were moving between the juncus field to behind Hillas,s scrapyard possibly to another location out of the wind.
