No wildlife sightings including Roe Deer, Fox, Hare or Badger will be mentioned on this blog throughout the year due to the rising influx of poaching, long dogging and lamping by sick individuals. BS.

Fly Flatts

                                       Plenty Grouse on the moor
Probably being released for the saddos

A bright morning which is unusual for Fly Flatts with clear visibility , slight NW>3 and sunshine.
Despite this, birding was again poor at this venue with for some reason Fly Flatts failing to produce the birds this year. There is a lot more disturbance now with constant shoots and the high number of Grouse shows that they are being farmed in and released there.
The reservoir held 2 BHgulls , 3 Rooks flew over the water and Red Grouse were everywhere and that was it, not much to show for 2 hours birding and walking the full circumference of the water including the top road.
Nothing at the Delvers field where feeding seems to have ceased.
