Distant skeins of Pinkies and Greylags >W

                                    Few Pied Wagtails present

A dull but clear morning with a cold SW>5 but never getting any decent light for photos.
The reservoir was quiet apart from the usual Cormorant, small gulls and Mallards but a search of the fields proved fruitful with 63 Greylags in a distant field along with 2 Pink Footed whilst a nearer field held 2 Curlew that seem to be wintering it out here, or at least till the weather turns.
Fieldfares were mobile from the lane side trees to the fields mixed in with Mistle Thrushes whilst a flock of around 15 Blue tits moved through.
The skies were active with several skeins of Greylags moving >W along with a smaller number of Pinkies heading in the same direction.
Large flocks of Woodpigeons were feeding in the fields near the farm  and 4 Pied Wagtails were seen.
