Garden Stuff

                                              juv Goldfinch

Tucking in to the sunflower seed

young one watching on in safety
Unusual for my garden, female Chaffinch.

A grey miserable day with rain showers, some heavy, and dark rolling clouds.
Several LBB gulls were moving over the village throughout the day >NE and a single early returning Common gull flew >SE over the garage this a.m.
The garden held the now usual Goldfinch and a surprise visit from a female Chaffinch with no re appearance of the weekends Coal tit.
Passed the Raggalds flood whilst out fetching parts this p.m. and was surprised to see the Redshank scratting in the dust along with 1 pair of Pied Wagtails + 1 juv and a single Lapwing.
