A good day for Pinkies on the move today with first a report from a customer coming in mid morning to see if Id seen the geese over. He reported a small skein over the garage >E at 0825 and the a very large skein over the garage at 0840 also >E, both of which I managed to miss Thanks to Roy Morris for that sighting. The geese were very high but noisy, unfortunately I was doing an early M.O.T. test at the time so dipped on both counts.
Next came a grapevine message with a Skein over EGP,( Calderbirds) and finally a call from NK with a skein over Shelf Moor >E which were blocked from my vision with buildings but thanks for the call Nigel, see Queensburybirder for report.
Two flocks of post roost Fieldfares came over the garage early morn looking as if they had come up from the old railway station.
