A reet poor do ont ill

                                         Kessie in for the kill

                                                 Good conditions, no birds
                                                 Hazy sun going down
                                                             Going
                                                                      Gone

Soil Hill late afternoon. Clear blue skies, cold SW>4

A thorough search of the top of the hill found only,  1 Skylark, 1 Meadow Pipit, 1f Pheasant and 1 Kestrel.
Strangely, conditions on the top of the hill are ideal with plenty scrapes and boggy areas but there are no Snipe to be found?
Several small and large gulls were heading to the TMR roost with birds on the water in excess of 500.
Had a bit of a Waxwing scout about in Halifax this pm and as DJS commented, most of the usual Rowans are missing berries this year with the Sainsburys/ Wickes hotspot area very low in fruit.
