Ogden. Bad storm, good company.
Nice juvenile BHG.
These LBBs taken with converter that we spoke about Denise.
Denises new found gull field.
A late afternoon Whinchat trip to Ogden had to be aborted due to thunderstorms and torrential rain.
Hoping it was only a shower I set off and parked up in the top car park to peer through the rain for anything moving and as I looked at the next car to me it was Denise with the same idea.
As we sat in the car talking photography the rain got heavier with thunder and lightening and no signs of it easing although Denise had been down the valley earlier but no Whinchats.
After Denise had gone the rain eased slightly so I walked down to the water to take a few experimental photos using a converter but the next storm came over so I drove over to Well Heads, Keelham to check out a field Denise had mentioned where she had sighted a possible Med Gull .
The field was heaving with gulls but very flighty and a check through found nothing but a place to keep an eye on, the only problem being is that the field rises and birds can go over the top out of sight.
