3rd year Yellow Legged Herring gull.
Kessie
A busy hour at the Ned Hill watchpoint with a steady flow of gulls throughout. All the gulls were coming through the Causeway Foot col from Thornton Moor then veering SE probably towards Eccup.
The YL gull , which still had some head speckling and and pale fleshy yellow legs looking like a 3rd year bird ,headed towards Mixenden then veered back SE to follow the other gulls. No sign of Wheatear in the usual mowed field.
