They,re Back

Common Gulls back in Foxhill Park

A deteriorating day with again a decent morning turning to heavy drizzle and low cloud by early afternoon.
A good moving day today, see NKs Queensburybirder, with 5 Common gulls arriving back in Foxhill park at lunchtime where numbers will now steadily increase with over wintering birds.
The birds were , as new arrivals always are, very flighty, hence the distant photos but they soon get used to the disturbance and settle down.
Seven BH gulls were also present with a few Swifts >SW.
