Queensbury Today

Swallow to prove its still summer, photo courtesy Brittany Collier.
One from Tracys garden, photo courtesy Brittany C.
You can,t beat the sharp eyes of youth, Brittany captured this rabbit peering from the top of the wall.

Many thanks to Tracy for sending me the photos and thanks to her daughter Brittany the photographer.
Yesterdays gull movement was short lived with empty skies today although this evening a small number of LBBs can be seen going to roost >E.
Two Meadow Pipits were in Foxhill park at midday which is unusual, possibly being brought down with the heavy showers and drizzle which have been going on most of the day.
We,re into July now and things will soon be hotting up with dispersion near followed closely by autumn migration. July is a key month to see waders and gulls moving and the first of the Swifts heading south.
