Green Lane/ Soil Hill

Mixenden Reservoir from Ned Hill watchpoint
                                           Over Ogden to Withins Gap

A dull drizzly day with dark skies which should have been ideal for gull movement but nothing over the village during the day.
A quick check along Shibden Top trying to get that perfect Little Owl photo found nothing other than 4 Mistle Thrush over and the usual Linnets, Grenfinch and Corvids.
A once over of Soil Hill summit failed to find any grounded waders so it was down to the watchpoint to see what was moving through the col.
Just 13 LBBs headed through >S along with 1 first summer Common gull which went down on Mixenden reservoir.
5 Swifts also headed >S and up to 30 Swallows headed for Ogden.
